Crescent Ebenezer — Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, HVAC Certification Required)
Join our team at Crescent Ebenezer, a luxury 324‑unit apartment community in west Knoxville. We’re hiring a full‑time Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping a beautiful property running smoothly. Schedule
- Full time. Monday–Friday schedule with on‑call/after‑hours rotation for emergencies as needed. Overtime available.
What you’ll do
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems (must be HVAC certified), plumbing, electrical, appliances, and building systems.
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC units, including routine service, filter changes, refrigerant checks, and safety inspections.
- Respond to work orders promptly and professionally; prioritize tasks to maintain resident satisfaction and safety.
- Conduct property inspections and complete accurate maintenance logs and reports.
- Assist with unit turnovers: cleaning coordination, minor repairs, and preparing units for new residents.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, clean work environment; follow safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Support team projects and special property initiatives as needed.
Who we’re looking for
- HVAC certification required; additional HVAC experience strongly preferred.
- Proven maintenance experience in residential or multifamily properties is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset when interacting with residents and vendors.
- Reliable, safety‑conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

- Pay range $24.00–$25.00/hour (depending on experience). Overtime as available.
